Early Life and Educational Foundation
Dr. Nitin Sharma was born into an academically enriched family, where the values of learning, service and social responsibility were nurtured from an early age. His educational journey reflects both diversity and depth. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to earn advanced qualifications including an LLM in Corporate Law, a Master in Social Work and an Executive Program in Business Management from IIM Kolkata.
His Honorary Doctorate in Social Work and Law recognizes his long-standing commitment to societal development and transformational initiatives.
Entry into Social and Political Spheres
Dr. Sharma began his public life through student politics between 1995 and 2000, which laid the foundation for his interest in community service and social intervention. His early political experience included serving as Congress District General Secretary in 2004, a role that helped build his strategic understanding of public issues.
Over the years he contributed to various organizations and political platforms. A long-time associate of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2023. He currently serves as Program Head for the Spiritual Development Front in Mumbai, focusing on yoga and spirituality initiatives.
He has also held senior positions in the Republican Party of India, including Rajasthan In-charge and National Executive Member.
Leadership in Social Impact Initiatives
As the CEO and Trustee of Fulora Foundation, Dr. Sharma has led impactful initiatives across rural development, women’s empowerment and youth leadership. His national movement Yogi Bharat Nirogi Bharat has promoted yoga and holistic health practices across communities.
His leadership in the Viksit Bharat 2047 mission reflects his effort to strengthen India’s MSME sector and enhance future-ready entrepreneurship.
